We were contracted to fabricate and install a new canopy to recreate the original entry
canopy fabricated in the 1930s at the Sheridan Building on 125 S. 9th Street in Philadelphia.
Ernest D. Menold Inc designed the new canopy from an architectural concept drawing that had dimensions, and designed according to our fabrication capabilities. For fabrication, we took our drawings from Inventor and had the 0.090 aluminum cornice cut with a water jet at PGA Machine Co. We then powdered coated the aluminum to match the building exterior, and installed.
